The contribution of our Postdoctoral Scholars to our research enterprise and intellectual community is greatly valued at the University of Maryland. One of our office's core missions is to ensure that our post-docs are well provided for with regards to compensation & benefits, access to career development opportunities and to serve as advocates for the rights and fair treatment of our community of Postdoctoral Scholars.
Postdoctoral Scholars with questions pertaining to administrative policy or that would like to share an idea or concern can contact Tom McHugh, Program Administrator, Graduate Program in Life Sciences, Office of Postdoctoral Scholars or Dudley Strickland, PhD, Assistant Dean for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
Our Office of Postdoctoral Scholars (OPS) is working to provide a training environment and opportunities for our postodctoral researchers that is compliant with the AAMC Compact Between Postdoctoral Appointees and Their Mentors.
