Graduate Training 

The Department of Physiology has a rich tradition of training Ph.D. students to perform cutting-edge research, make significant discoveries and become leaders in biomedical science. We invite you to apply to our Ph.D. studies in Cellular and Molecular Physiology. Students whose focus is primarily Neuroscience may also consider applying to the Graduate Program in Neuroscience.  A program of study leading to a Masters Degree in Molecular Medicine is also offered.

These programs offer wonderful opportunities to perform your thesis research in our Department. Our faculty represent a select group who operate especially strong research programs, have excellent track records as mentors, and offer vibrant laboratories for you to do your thesis work. Many are internationally recognized for their seminal contributions in their fields.
