Division of Pediatric Nephrology
Within the Division of Nephrology, a multidisciplinary team composed of a physician, social worker, dietitian, child-life specialist, teacher and psychologist work together as a team. They strive to help patients with chronic renal disease maintain a lifestyle as similar as possible to that of healthy children. Our team also assists with prenatal consultation for congenital anomalies of the kidneys and urinary tract (CAKUT) at the Center for Advanced Fetal Care within the OB-GYN department at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
