Division of Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine
The division of hospitalist medicine provides family centered care for children and adolescents admitted to the general inpatient unit at the U of Maryland hospital. We offer 24 hour 7 day a week care for children on our service. Our team consists of attending physicians, residents, students, nurses , pharmacists, respiratory therapists social workers, child life specialists, and most importantly, the patient and his/ her family. We work closely with Pediatric specialists,the PICU, NICU and ER to make our care patient care safe and efficient. We offer general pediatric consultations to other pediatric specialists, surgical colleagues and psychiatry colleagues.
