You will participate in pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care including patient management problems and the decisions involved in their solutions. One can expect to be a participant in writing orders seeing patients, helping with procedures related to those patients similar to that of a first year resident. The student will have immediate supervision by a fifth year surgical resident and a first year surgical resident.
