Description and Goals:
This elective includes routine Obstetrics, Gynecology, and health maintenance. It will cover a broad range of topics including care of the obstetric patient, family planning, health maintenance for women, sexually transmitted disease, vaginitis, pelvic pain and gynecologic problems. Care of the menopausal patient including hormone replacement, pelvic relaxation, urinary incontinence and breast cancer screening will be included. The High Risk Obstetric Clinic is held every Tuesday Morning and Friday afternoon; a Colposcopy Clinic is held on Monday afternoons.
