Description and Goals:
Students rotating on this elective will gain first-hand experience in the diagnosis and management of patients hospitalized with infectious diseases. Students will work one on one with the infectious disease attending and will see patients at several Baltimore community hospitals. During the rotation the student may attend the weekly infectious disease rounds at University of Maryland Hospital and Johns Hopkins University.
