Description and Goals:
This is an elective in inpatient, adult general psychiatry at the University of Maryland Hospital, Unit 11 West. Specific responsibilities will include following 3-4 patients under the supervision of the ward attending from the time of admission to discharge and directing all aspects of patient care, including diagnostic evaluation, pharmacotherapy, and non-biological psychotherapy.
