The University of Maryland School of Medicine requires that you fill out our Local Information Form prior to the start of the rotation.

URecFit (Gym) Visiting students of UMB departments may purchase an affiliate membership and take advantage of what URecFit and Wellness has to offer. Membership provides access to our fitness classes, cardio and weight equipment, indoor track, pool, basketball and volleyball courts, racquet/squash court and our strength and conditioning room. Visiting students need to request their sponsoring department to send an email to URecFit and Wellness’s departmental email. The sponsor’s email must include the visiting student’s full name, an active email address and the start and end date for the visiting student. A member of the URecFit and Wellness team will send a welcome email to the visiting student on how to complete the membership process. The welcome email from URecFit and Wellness may take up to 3 business days.

Campus Transportation

UM Shuttle (phone app), is available to Students, Faculty, Staff, and Affiliates with their University OneCard. As of August 2nd, 2021, students do not have to pay the $1.75 fee. Faculty, Staff, and Affiliates must use their OneCard and a fee of $1.75 per ride will be required. Funds can be added to your OneCard here

Police Escort Services: Police and Public Safety also offers a 24-hour daily walking escort service. Call 410- 706-6882 to request an escort. This service is to the specific location the requestor needs within the parameters of UMB campus.
