Karen R. Murdock, BS

Karen Murdock is currently a clinical coordinator for the SAMHI (Serial Assessment of Mild Head Injury) project, a study of mild traumatic brain injury outcomes.  Karen has been a Physical Therapist since completing her undergraduate work at Marquette University in 1986.  

Ms. Murdock spent over 15 years in clinical practice at the Shock Trauma Center where she served also as a program coordinator for 5 years.  In addition she was a clinical evaluator for the Lower Extremity Assessment Project (LEAP) and the Lower Extremity Fracture (LEF) Study. Karen is a member of the Adjunct Clinical Faculty in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science at University of Maryland, Baltimore, where she is also pursuing her Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy degree. 

Ms. Murdock is also active in the Acute Care Section of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) most recently serving as section treasurer.
