Database Engineer

Shiu Ho has been employed as a database engineer for the NSC since 1990.  She received her Master’s degree in management of information systems from the University of Baltimore (1992).

Skilled in SAS, Oracle/SQL, Visual Basic, HTML, Microsoft Office, and Novell Netware, Shiu provides programming and data analytical support for various NSC grants and publications.  In addition, she is knowledgeable about various statewide databases and has many years of experience with data linkage.  Shiu is a co-author on numerous publications.
