Informal “Brown Bag” Research Discussion
Everyone is Welcome
Where: Bressler Conference Room, 9-033
When: 12 noon – 1:00pm, once a month (dates to be determined)
What: A “Brown Bag Lunch”, hosted by the Division of Molecular Pathology, Pathology Department, will be held once a month at 12 noon in the conference room on the 9th floor of the Bressler Research Building (9-033). The purpose of the meetings is to provide an informal forum to discuss emerging research ideas and to foster collaborations amongst scientists. All faculty, post-docs and graduate students are invited to speak. Talks are intended for scientists to discuss preliminary data and new research plans, rather than present previously published data. Talks will be limited to 25 minutes, with 5 minutes for Q&As. Talks can be presented either as PowerPoint or “chalk board presentations.” If you would like to present at this luncheon, please send an email to Melinda Tillman at mtillman@som.umaryland.edu (6-6300) or Dr. Anne Hamburger at ahamburg@som.umaryland.edu (8-3908). Lunch will be provided.
