Master's in Genetic Counseling (MGC)

Prerequisites for Admission

  • B.S. or B.A. in biology, psychology or other related field.

  • At least one semester each of genetics, statistics and biochemistry.

  • Counseling experience (e.g. paid or volunteer work on a crisis hotline or pregnancy/reproductive counseling service).

  • Exposure to genetic counseling in a clinical setting is highly recommended.
