HEPATOLOGIST/MEDICAL DIRECTOR TRANSPLANT HEPATOLOGY (Position #3-309-496): The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) is recruiting a full-time board-certified (Int. Med./GI) academic hepatologist as the medical director of our expanding liver transplant program. Candidates must have a strong record of clinical hepatology practice, with a focus on liver transplantation. Related clinical research is preferred but not necessary. The successful candidate must possess clinical and endoscopic skills to supervise and teach fellows. Moreover, the successful candidate must have all needed credentials for UNOS certification. Academic Gastroenterologist/IBD Program (Position #3-309-546): The Gastroenterology Division, University of Maryland, Baltimore (UM,B) and the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center (BVAMC), is recruiting a full-time, board-certified Int. Med., board certified/eligible GI gastroenterologist to expand our existing Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) program. Candidates must have a strong record of clinical investigation. The successful candidate will possess clinical and personal skills to facilitate clinic and in-patient consultation, teaching of fellows, and supervision of RNPs, and have endoscopic skills, including ano/rectal ultrasonography and manometry, to supervise and teach fellows. Academic rank, tenure and salary are commensurate with experience.
