UM SOM: Integrative Medicine

At the Center for Integrative Medicine we offer primary care and wellness services. In partnership with you, we focus on prevention. By recommending appropriate screening tests and examinations, we are able to help you anticipate where you might need to give your body more attention.  We can then suggest traditional western medical treatments or guide you towards complementary wellness options for long-term management of your personal health.

Primary Care Physicians are meant to be your first contact with the health care system.  We are trained to help you manage all your wellness issues and to guide you in your choice of treatments.  Ideally, we will coordinate your care with hospitals, specialists and any other providers who tend to your needs.  As a center for integrative medicine, we are well equipped to help you navigate the use of herbs, supplements, homeopathic remedies, healing touch therapies and more standard western medical usage.

Our mission is to provide you with continuous care throughout your life.  We strive to teach you how to manage your health and will be there in times of dis-ease to guide you through both common and complex medical issues and treatments.
