Introduction to Mindfulness
This 3-hour workshop provides an overview into mindfulness. You will gain an understanding into the history and theory of mindfulness. Participants will be provided with some practical applications and will enjoy some experiential exercises.
Stress Reduction Program
Our 7-week course is an intensive program designed to give you lifelong tools to help manage stress, improve your health, and increase your enjoyment of life. Based on the University of Massachusetts program by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, Stress Reduction has been extensively studied since the late 1970’s.
Both Classes are clinically shown to reduce stress, anxiety, depression and symptoms of pain, Stress Reduction classes restore balance, control and peace of mind to participants. Begin your healing journey today—join us!

The 7-week program consists of weekly 1 1/2 hour classes and includes:
- Guided instruction in mindfulness meditation practices
- Breathing Exercises to bring mindfullness to situations in everyday life
- Practice with group discussions
- Daily at-home practice with specially designed materials
Location:
Our classes are held in a quiet cottage on the beautiful wooded grounds of Kernan Orthopedic and Rehabilitation. Parking is free and steps from the door.
