Systems of Care Training Institutes (SOCTI)
Monday, June 29 & Tuesday, June 30, 2009


The Maryland System of Care Training Institutes (SOCTI) is a statewide conference that supports the implementation of a coordinated interagency effort to develop a child-family serving system that can better meet the needs of children, youth and families. This SOCTI will host sessions in a variety of content areas including: Department updates, Administration and Policy, Systems of Care Values and Principles, Evidence-Based and Promising Practices, Early Childhood Mental Health, Transition Age Youth and Trauma-Informed Care. The (SOCTI) is held in partnership with the Department of Human Resources, the Department of Juvenile Services and the Mental Hygiene Administration's Bi-Annual Provider meeting and the Baltimore Mental Health Systems' Annual Forensics Conference. This conference is designed for participants, including family members, direct practitioners, clinicians, administrators and others working within a system of care for children and youth.
