Scholarships

Scholarship funding is available for the 13th Annual International Meeting of the Institute of Human Virology. Preference will be given to authors from developing countries with demonstrated financial need and whose abstracts have been accepted for presentation.

Applications should be made in the form of a letter addressed to the Scholarship Committee (containing complete contact information: author's name, name of institution, address, telephone and email contact information).

Your letter of application must include your primary affiliation information, an explanation of the reasons for the request, and a description of your research project. In addition, please provide a copy of your abstract and a letter of recommendation on institutional letterhead from your principal investigator or collaborator. These letters should be emailed to ihvmeeting2011@ihv.umaryland.edu with the subject line Scholarship Application and the applicant's name.

The deadline to request a scholarship is July 1. You will be notified by August 1 if your scholarship has been awarded.
