UM SOM: Division of Growth and Nutrition

Growth and Nutrition Clinic

Program Description

A multidisciplinary, family-centered clinic that provides comprehensive evaluations and interventions to children under age three with failure-to-thrive (growth deficiency) or feeding disorders. The GNC's primary goal is to implement cost-effective, family-centered programs that can be used in the home. Our programs promote better growth, promote better child development, avoid unnecessary emergency room visits and hospitalizations, avoid expensive medical work-ups, and ensure that children and families receive needed community services.
