Personal History
Dr. Cina graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2002. He stayed on at the University for residency training in internal medicine and has been a faculty member since 2005. He enjoys treating the breadth of adult diseases and teaching and learning from residents and students. Other interests include fostering ongoing improvements within the residency, hospital policy and efficiency, and cost management in inpatient medicine.
Research Interests
Simulation-based medical education, patient safety, graduate medical education.
Clinical Speciality
Internal Medicine, hospitalist.
Dr. Cina attends on teaching medical services, provides medical consultation within the hospital and supervises medical residents in an ambulatory setting.
