Research Interests:

My research is focused on the treatment of alcohol, drug and nicotine dependence in people with schizophrenia and other forms of severe mental illness. Specifically, I am interested in designing and testing interventions for patients with severe mental illness and substance use disorders, and then working to disseminate these interventions for use in the community. In addition, I am interested in designing assessments to more accurately measure substance use, abuse, consequences and service use among patients in this population.
