Biosketch

Dr. Silverman has extensive experience in facial and nasal reconstruction, skin cancer resection, burn reconstruction, and complex wound management. He also specializes in general reconstructive surgery and facial and breast/body cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Silverman is a clinical associate professor of surgery at University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM). He was previously chief of UMSOM's Division of Plastic Surgery. He has previously been recognized as a "Top Doctor" in the specialty of plastic reconstructive surgery by Baltimore magazine.

After receiving his medical degree and the Wayne W. Babock prize for outstanding performance in surgery from UMSOM, Dr. Silverman completed his plastic surgery residency at Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, where he gained extensive experience in cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries.
