Research Interests
Dr. Harris is an infectious disease physician and epidemiologist whose research interests include emerging pathogens, antimicrobial-resistant bacteria, infection control interventions, epidemiologic methods in infectious diseases and medical informatics. He has published over 75 papers and has funding from the NIH, CDC and AHRQ to study antibiotic resistance and hospital epidemiology.
