Research Interests

Descending vasa recta (DVR) are around 15 um diameter arteriolar microvessels through which blood flow reaches the medulla of kidney. And DVR are surrounded by smooth muscle cell-like, pericytes, that impart contractile properties to regulation vasoactivity. My special interesting is the functions and signal transduction pathways of vasoactive in DVR.

Lab Techniques and Equipment

Fluorescence measurement, isolate and perfuse vasa-recta in rat, patch-clamp
