Personal History:

Dr. Jeannie Chun is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the division of Pediatric Surgery at the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine, with special interests in neonatal surgery, pediatric general and thoracic surgery, pediatric surgical oncology and surgical outcomes in the pediatric population.

Dr. Chun received her Medical Degree from Brown University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in General Surgery at University of Wisconsin Medical Center and a fellowship in Pediatric Surgery at the University of Louisville/Kosair Children’s Hospital.

Research Interests:

Dr. Chun’s research interests lie in the management of sickle cell disease.

Clinical Specialty:

Dr. Chun is board-certified in both General and Pediatric Surgery and enjoys a broad practice in pediatric general and thoracic surgery.
