Dr. Krumholz is a professor of neurology and director of the University of Maryland Epilepsy Center. He is a past Chair of the Epilepsy Foundation Professional Advisory Board. His major area of clinical and research expertise is in epilepsy, its clinical characteristics, its treatment with medication and surgery, and its effects on social functions, including employment and driving. He also specializes in clinical neurophysiology, including electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials and Sleep Studies.
