Graduate Education in Toxicology
Our Division of Translational Toxicology offers graduate training through the Track in Molecular and Mechanistic Toxicology within the Graduate Program in Toxicology and through other programs within the Graduate Program in Life Sciences (GPILS) at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Essentially, it provides ground-breaking educational and professional training in cutting-edge research on neurotoxicology, reproductive toxicology, behavioral toxicology, molecular toxicology, and toxicogenetics.
Graduates trained by faculty within the Division are successfully conducting independent, basic and public health research in academic institutions and industries within and outside the US, or working in regulatory federal agencies such as the Food and Drug Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency.
