EPH NIH Funding - National Ranking
The Department of Epidemiology and Public Health is ranked #2 out of 46 Public Health and Preventive Medicine departments in all schools of medicine across the United States , according to the Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research which analyzes the publicly available NIH database of grant funding and ranks individual departments and medical schools according to the amount of NIH funding received in the previous fiscal year.
In FY2012, we were credited with $21,939,252 in total NIH research funding, which includes funding to any principal investigator with a primary academic appointment in the department.
