MS Admissions Requirements

Submission deadline is May 1st for fall admission.

Beyond the Graduate School’s minimum admission requirements, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in medical technology or a degree in a discipline related to laboratory sciences.

The following criteria will serve as the basis for acceptance or nonacceptance to the M.S. Graduate Program in Medical and Research Technology for full status by the DMRT Graduate Faculty Committee.

  1. Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0.

  2. International students are required to submit their credentials for evaluation by Education Evaluators. (World Education Services, P.O. Box 745, Old Chelsea Station, New York, NY 10113-0745 or other current NACES Members)

  3. Letters of recommendation or recommendation forms (3).

  4. Graduate record examination (GRE-General) scores.

  5. Acceptable Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores for international students:

    • - Score of 550 on paper based test
    • - Score of 213 on computer based test
    • - Score of 80 on internet based test
  6. Appropriate professional experience.

  7. Completed application to the Graduate School.
