Education and Training Opportunities at the CVID
T32 Training Grant
All of the principal investigators at the CVID are involved in training either pre-doctoral students or postdoctoral fellows, and the CVID scientists share a Training Grant entitled Transfusion Medicine Research Training Program .
The T32 training grant, funded by NHLBI, provides support for four pre-doctoral students and four postdoctoral fellows. The objective of our training program is to develop young investigators with a strong multi-disciplinary background in basic science that is orientated to ensure ongoing growth in our understanding of vascular biology, immunology and inflammation.
Graduate Degree Programs
Principal investigators at the CVID actively participate in the Graduate Program In Life Sciences through teaching, lectures and mentoring of students. GPILS offers five programs of study leading to PhD or MS degrees.
