Access, Fees, and Training Policies

Hours:

24hrs/day, 365 days a year

Eligible Users:

Anyone from the UMB Campus & VA Hospital. Outside users are welcome at a higher rate.

Training:

Each user receives a four-hour individual training session on the Zeiss LSM410. The session includes system startup, overview of the light path and principles of confocal microscopy, general software guidelines and parameter setting, scanning, image optimization, image storage, 3D image acquisition and rendering, and laser scanning DIC microscopy.

Fees:

Training: $200.00 per person (UMB Employees)/$300.00 per person (outside users)
LSM410: $35.00/hr
LSM510 META: $40.00/hr (UMB Employees)/$60.00/hr (outside users)
Workstation: Free!
Printer: $3.50/print
