Facility for Confocal Microscopy

Welcome to the University of Maryland Confocal Microscopy. Established in December, 1994, our Facility is a multi-user, interdepartmental resource that enables local scientists to implement confocal techniques in their research programs. The Facility for Confocal Microscopy was created by grants from the National Science Foundation, and funds provided by the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and Graduate School.

• Confocal Microscope Laboratory (Zeiss LSM410 Confocal Microscope)
• Hyperspectral Imaging Laboratory (Zeiss LSM510 META Confocal Microscope)
• Image Processing Laboratory
