Adolescent Family Life Care / Demonstration Project: Teen Tot Dads

Teen Tot DADS was developed to augment the Teen Tot Clinic which provides comprehensive inter-disciplinary health care to first time teen mothers in a "one stop shopping" model. The DADS program provides aggressive outreach to the fathers of the infants enrolled in the Teen Tot program. The purpose is to help fathers be more involved in the care of their children by offering: 1) individual support and counseling; 2) addictions counseling; 3) male support groups; 4) use of an established curriculum for inner-city young men, and; 5) employment readiness training.
