Volunteer Information

 We are looking for you!!! Are you 18 years or older? Want to serve your community in a variety of interesting and fun ways while helping them to become healthier?

Then, call us about volunteer opportunities! C.H.A.M.P. is largely comprised of volunteers from the community and churches. Our volunteers are trained and certified to provide screening, referrals, monitoring, and, most importantly, culturally sensitive health education to members of our community. 

 

Funding for CHAMP is provided by the Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant (award number 2007-B1-MD-PRVS) through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. The University of MD, School of Medicine (Dept. of Family Medicine) serves as the administrative component.
