For Scholars
The Multidisciplinary Clinical Research Career DevelopmentProgram (MCRCDP) provides a wonderful opportunity for Scholars to jump start their careers as multidisciplinary clinical researchers with protected time for research and training. We have developed a number of expectations for the Scholars that will help ensure success.- Each Scholar is expected to have a career development plan with didactic training appropriate to their level of experience and consistent with their career goals. They must demonstrate that they have received or will participate in training in biostatistics, data management, epidemiology or study design and other research skills important for their chosen field of research.
- Each Scholar is expected to enrolland participate in didactic coursework in: Responsible Conduct of Research and Legal and Regulatory Issues in Clinical Research .
- Each Scholar is expected to present his or her research and progress every six months to the Multidisciplinary Advisory Committee (MAC) with his or her mentors in attendance.
