The Maryland Anesthesiology Program in Simulation (MAPS) provides new technologies and flexible teaching spaces to support innovative medical instruction, including learner-centered training for medical students, residents, and pre-hospital providers. The facility includes specialized multimedia classrooms, video-equipped exam rooms for analyzing student-patient interactions, and a state-of-the-art Medical Simulation Center.
Through generous philanthropic grants by such industry partners as GE, a fully operation AISYS anesthesia machine was donated for educational purposes. In addition, Edwards Lifesciences has loaned the Flo Trac Simulation technology for use and review.
We would very much appreciate any contribution you would be willing to make to help support the mission of the Medical Simulation Center and ongoing efforts in the Department of Anesthesiology to educate healthcare providers of today and tomorrow. Please enter your details below. A member of the Medical Simulation Center executive team will contact you shortly to arrange your donation. Thank you for your consideration.
