The Surgical Neurophysiology Monitoring Service is designed to assist physicians during surgical interventions in which the nervous system and its supportive structures may be put at risk. We are committed to establishing superior standards for intraoperative monitoring through advanced clinical practices and state-of-the-art equipment. To this end, we ensure that all of our intraoperative monitoring clinicians are CNIM® (ABRET®) certified to perform neurophysiologic monitoring.
Through years of academic study and clinical experience we have cultured a symbiotic relationship with surgeons and anesthesiologists to provide the highest quality in neuro-monitoring. The surgical neurophysiology team provides care in the neurosurgical, orthopedic, vasular, otorhinolaryngological and interventional radiology arenas. We provide neuromonitoring in surgical cases ranging from lumbar decompression and spinal fusion to posterior fossa tumor resection and carotid endarterectomy. By offering a full range of intraoperative tests for a variety treatment options, we can fully protect our patients and prevent neurologic injury as we strive to make complex surgical cases safer.
