Post Doctoral Fellows
The Maryland Psychiatric Research Center (MPRC), an international leader in schizophrenia research, welcomes enquiries from qualified Post Doctoral Fellows. We are seeking applicants for a two-year training program for fellows from psychiatry, psychology, pharmacy practice and laboratory neuroscience who are committed to a career in schizophrenia research. Faculty include William T. Carpenter Jr., Robert Buchanan, Robert Conley, James Gold, Henry Holcomb, Adrienne Lahti, Gunvant Thaker and Malle Tagamets. The MPRC has a strong record of helping fellows develop their own research careers.
Each class of trainees will share educational activities, which include MPRC's internal course on schizophrenia, a fellows journal club, lunch with outside speakers, a grant writing exercise, an outside review aimed at furthering the fellow's career, and a monthly lunch with the MPRC Director (Dr. Carpenter).
Fellows must be U.S. citizens, non-citizen nationals, or permanent residents.
