Short Courses and Workshops

Short course and workshops are offered at least annually on the UMB campus. They are open to all UMB faculty, staff, postdoctoral fellows and students, as well as UMMS residents and fellows; however, priority will be given to those formally enrolled in degree-granting programs. Those formally enrolled have the option of taking these for credit.

To register:  Students already enrolled in a graduate school program should register for PREV 617 in the summer semester. Everyone should e-mail Laura Bell at lbell@medicine.umaryland.edu as class size is limited to 10.

• Title: Introduction to Clinical Investigation at UMB

• Title:  Seminar in the Application of Legal and Regulatory Issues to Clinical Research

To register:  Students already enrolled in a graduate school program should register for PREV 633 in the fall semester. Everyone should e-mail Laura Bell at lbell@medicine.umaryland.edu as class size is limited to 20.

• Title:  Workshop in Research Data Management

Next Available: January 19-22, 2010, 9a.m. - 5p.m.; Location: HSL - LL05 

To register: Students already enrolled in a graduate school program should register for PREV 706 in the spring semester.  Once registered, notify Errica Muriel by e-mail. All others should e-mail Errica at emuriel@medicine.umaryland.edu to enroll. Enrollment is limited.
