Dr. Driscoll graduated Summa cum Laude from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, where she earned degrees in both pharmacy and sociology. She earned her doctorate in pharmacy at The University of Texas prior to receiving her medical degree at The University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She completed an internship in Primary Care Internal Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital and her Dermatology Residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Prior to coming to the University of Maryland in 2007, she held faculty positions at The University of Michigan School of Medicine and The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Her husband, Brian Patrick Driscoll, M.D., is an otolaryngologist/ facial plastic surgeon in private practice in Silver Spring, and he has a clinical appointment at The National Institute of Health/National Institute of Deafness and Communication Disorders.
Dr. Driscoll practices in all aspects of adult and pediatric medical and surgical dermatology. Her special interests include atypical moles and skin cancer, skin disorders and growths during pregnancy, and common disorders including acne, eczema and psoriasis.
