Dr. Brown earned her Ph.D. in Human Services Psychology with a concentration in Behavioral Medicine in 2006 from UMBC. She has worked as a postdoctoral fellow with Dr. Kate Tracy and went on to complete an Epidemiology of Aging Postdoctoral Fellowship under the direction of Dr. Jay Magaziner. She is currently on the faculty of the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health in the Division of Gerontology.
Dr. Brown is interested in sleep as a health behavior across the adult life course.
Dr. Brown is the coursemaster for PH610 and PREV758. She is the co-coursemaster for PREV681. She also serves as the Associate Capstone Director for the MPH Program.
