Personal History:

Dr. O'Toole earned his MD at Harvard Medical School. He did an internship in general surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program and a fellowship in orthopaedic traumatology at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Shock Trauma.

Dr. O'Toole is board certified in orthopaedic surgery. In the field of orthopaedic traumatology, his special interests include problem fractures (nonunions and malunions), pelvis and acetabulum surgery, and posttraumatic reconstruction.
