Research Interests
As Research Coordinator for the MARCE, Dr. Snyder’s responsibilities include management of the MARCE research portfolio, research coordination, harmonization, review of projects, enhancement of communication amongst MARCE investigators and other Research Manager activities. Dr. Snyder’s research focuses on the development of attenuated Salmonella Typhi strains for use as mucosally delivered live vector vaccines. By genetic manipulation, these strains can be engineered to deliver protective antigens from heterologous pathogens to the human immune system.
