Personal History:

Dr. Zimrin graduated from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and trained in Internal Medicine at University of California, San Franscisco. She completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania, finishing in 1989. She is board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Research Interests:

Dr. Zimrin is involved in a number of clinical trials, both within the University of Maryland and nationally, investigating novel treatment options for lymphoma and head and neck cancer.

Clinical Speciality:

Dr. Zimrin's clinical interests include disorders of the coagulation system and other benign hematologic conditions.
