Personal History:

Dr. Llorente completed a BSEE (Electrical Engineering) from the University of Texas and an MS and PhD in Clinical Psychology from Oklahoma State University where he received specialized training (children and neuropsychology). He interned (residency) at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine-Kennedy Krieger Institute where he received training in neuropsychology and pediatric psychology. He conducted his post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute and Hospital, where he specialized in adults and children. He is a clinical and experimental neuropsychologist and conducts evaluations and studies of adults and children in clinical, experimental, and forensic settings.

Research Interests:

Attention-deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder in Childhood; Central Nervous System infectious diseases (HIV, CMV, etc.); Cross-cultural issues in clinical neuropsychology; Nutrition and Central Nervous Sytem Dysfunctions; Psychometirc Issues and Test Development in Neuropsychology.
