Dr. Whitney Burrows is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the division of Thoracic Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, specializing esophageal cancer, gastrointestinal reflux disease lung cancer, hyperhidrosis and emphysema.
Dr. Burrows received his Medical Degree from New York University Medical School. He completed residencies in General Surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and I Cardiothoracic Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine. He also completed fellowships in Thoracic Surgery at Barnes Hospital-Washington University in St. Louis and at Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota.
