Personal History
Ms. Patton received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences/Microbiology and her Master of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland. Her clinical training was completed at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC with later certifications in Medical Laboratory Science and Clinical/Public Health Microbiology.She is course coordinator for both MEDT 321 Introduction to Laboratory Techniques and MEDT 491 Clinical Immunology, supporting the Program Director in both Departmental Student Affairs and Admissions.
Professional interests include online education, autoimmune & infectious diseases, asthma & allergy. She currently serves as the chapter president for the Baltimore Campuses Chapter (22BC UM-UMBC) of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
