Research Interests

Neurophysiology: Current interests on brain electral oscillations as biomarkers for genetic and translational studies. Eye movement and motion perception behavioral and imaging studies.

Functional MRI: Current interests in fMRI of schizophrenia, nicotine addiction, and as clinical trial end-point measures.

Genetic study: Association studies with clinical endophenotypes and in post-mortem tissue gene expression.

Clinical trials of novel compounds for treating schizophrenia core biological deficits. Current interest in nicotinic and GABAergic receptor agents.
