Biosketch

David Pruitt, MD, Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics, is Director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Director of the Division of Tele Mental Health in the Department of Psychiatry, at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine. He is a board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist. Throughout Dr. Pruitt's career, he has been involved clinically with all ages of children and adolescents in all levels of clinical care utilizing a family centered treatment model. He is particularly interested in how to bring public health and system of care principles and practice together while protecting the core ingredients of physician/patient relationship.
