I am primarily interested in hypertension and vascular biology. I have a special interest in cardiovascular disease in special populations. I have done research on community programs to improve cardiovascular outcomes in Baltimore City. I also lecture on hypertension at the medical school, nursing school and dental school.
I have a clinical interest in the use of ambulatory blood pressure monitors to rule out white-coat hypertension. I also have an interest in the use of various blood pressure devices to properly measure blood pressure.
